Buritis is a leafy, hilly residential district in south-west Belo Horizonte, built around the Parque Aggeo Pio Sobrinho and the Avenida Professor Mário Werneck: settled, family-oriented and well served by local commerce, schools and green space. It trades at a discount to the central-south prime belt while retaining strong, steady tenant demand. For investors, Buritis is the city's best mid-market value-and-yield play: deep rental demand and lower entry prices produce Belo Horizonte's highest gross yields, around 5.5–6.5%, on apartments and family units, a balanced buy-and-hold market rather than a prime-prestige one.
