About Fasouri

Fasouri sits on Limassol's western edge between the city and the Akrotiri peninsula, and its character is defined by greenery rather than urbanity. The area grew from the historic Fasouri plantations, where reclaimed marshland became one of the region's largest citrus estates, planted with thousands of cypress and eucalyptus trees that today form the much-photographed 'tree tunnel' along the Fasouri road. The adjacent Akrotiri Salt Lake and Fasouri reedbed make up a Ramsar-listed wetland complex that hosts wintering flamingos and migratory birds. It is overwhelmingly low-rise, leafy and quiet, a destination-leisure zone (Fasouri Watermania water park, Lady's Mile Beach) more than a walkable neighbourhood. The investment thesis is built on the new Limassol Greens Golf Resort, a ~1.4 million sqm mixed-use scheme with an 18-hole Cabell Robinson-designed championship course that opened for play in December 2025 alongside the first residents. For overseas buyers, Cyprus's permanent-residency-by-investment route grants PR on a €300,000 (plus VAT) purchase of new property from a developer, with a €50,000 minimum foreign income, and Limassol Greens residences start above that threshold, making the resort a purpose-built PR vehicle for golf-oriented lifestyle buyers.
