About Platis Gialos

Platis Gialos is one of Mykonos's most established organized beaches, a long sweep of golden sand backed by hotels, beach restaurants and a promenade, just 4 km from Chora. Its pier is the island's main sea-taxi hub, ferrying visitors to Paraga, Paradise, Agrari and Elia beaches, which keeps the area busy and rental demand high through the season. Sea-view villas and beachfront apartments climb the surrounding hillsides, priced in the €7,000–€9,500/m² range, a notch below adjacent Psarou. The area is resort-oriented and very seasonal, but its beach amenities, dining and connectivity make it a dependable base for holiday-let investors and beach-lifestyle buyers.
